STRIP Can connect lights strip of ASUS for 3PIN. When the PWM fan is not connected motherboard, TEST (1 and 2 shortage by Jumper) are connected to drive the fan to run full speed. TEST In the TEST interface, the TEST interface is the PWM demo function interface. Some case products have mode and color control multi-functions, and some products have brightness adjustment function. PWM-IN PWM-IN connects to the motherboard PWM fan interface(SYS-FAN or CHA-FAN socket onboard) 4-6. Take Aura Sync to the next level with Aura Creator, the advanced Aura effects editor that lets you easily create unique lighting profiles for stunning effects that are totally your own. SATA SATA is the power supply interface and Output 5V and 12V DC voltage. The triangle mark on the plug is aligned with the arrow on the controller. MB RAINBOW MB RAINBOW is connected to the motherboard programmable RGB interface onboard. RAINBOW 1-5 Channel RAINBOW1-5 connect fan or light bar. FAN 1-5 Channel FAN1-5 connected to fan, FAN1 has sense speed detection function. It can be connected light strip with ASUS standard.Ĥ-1. Sense function is connected to FAN1,so display the speed in the CMOS of the motherboard. The fan speed is controlled by the PWM signal of the main board. The lighting function of the controller is shielded. This function depends on different versions to decide whether to provide.Īfter connecting the motherboard programmable RGB interface, the change of light is controlled by the motherboard. Short press brightness button can adjust the brightness of LED. Short press two times mode and color buttons to change colors in the same mode. Short press one times mode and color button to change mode. Long press mode and color key 3S can turn on or off the lights. The SATA allows positive and negative connections. I just want basic rgb working on the fan.Īny info that you have learned would be amazing. The power supply interface is SATA. I don't want to have to buy more hubs and add more wires just for 1 fan. I have an Asus Maximus X Hero too and was gifted a single LL140 for my rear exhaust. Hey, did you ever figure out the pin layout of the Corsair LL fans? A volt meter across the pins of a Corsair LED hub output will reveal which pin is which. Just need to figure out the Corsair LED connector pin out. I happen to be in the midst of a Z370 build with an Asus Maximus X Hero wifi which has a 5vdc Aura port. I'm not sure how the LEDs are mapped in the LL fans but if I hooked it up and setup a simple chase, it should be apparent. An ohm meter will solve that mystery but it should be fine to just leave it NC.Īs for patterns, that would be a problem but if you set it up as an LED string you should be able to use the Aura presets, such as they are, to control the LEDs in the fan. The 4th conductor / pin is a mystery - maybe NC or maybe another ground. You just need to make sure you get these 3 conductors connected to the correct pins on the Aura header. The AURA RGB connector (the 5 volt one not the 12 volt) is laid out as 4 pins but one pin is missing. I don't know why there are 4 conductors on the Corsair fan LED cable and connector. I think it would work but you would have to make a cross pinned cable to do it.
